I think the ear pillows are key to keeping out some sound and provide nice support for side sleeping, and the mask puts just enough pressure on eye, to actually be comforting, not confining! Could you please put me on a waiting list for 2 black sleep masks when you get them in stock? I can't wait to get them, I have a 1 year old daughter and from time to time I pull an "all-nighter" with her and would benefit from this mask myself. Thank you again. Oh, my GOSH I love my Hibermate!! It is best thing to ever happen to sleeping since the weekend. One added bonus that no one seems to have mentioned: it also works as a fabulous adjunct to undereye moisturizing. Just apply some good eye cream to the periorbial area and put on your Hibermate. Chris, Hi Chris Good News. The parcel arrived today. I am very pleased with the product. Thanks for your willingness to work with me on this matter. I will tell you that the eye mask is for my husband who has been using one of my satin eye pillows for a couple of years. The elastic is so stretched out that he ties it on at night. This leaves a small indention line around the back of his hair. It is quite humorous. He teaches at a local university, and his students tease him about it quite regularly. He also sleeps with ear plugs, so the ear attachments are a definite plus. When I saw it on your website, I knew that I had to get it for him. I just wish there was a way to get insurance to pay for these things, being that he is an insomniac...

What a treat! I thought I might not like the ear pads since they might feel uncomfortable on the pillow, but they were great. The extra advantage in this colder weather of winter is that they keep my ears warm. I didn't think the sound muffling aspect would be that helpful, but it was. I slept more soundly because of the added soundproofing, sort of like having a blanket over my ear, it takes off the 'edge' of any noises in the environment. I've been wearing a Bed, Bath and Beyond (U.S. chain store) sleep mask for about a year, and had grown used to its uncovered elastic band irritating my ears. Your mask was like being in a dream, even before I went to sleep! So soft....a complete head wrap that stays on and doesn't slide around. Wow! Anyway, I'm one SOLD customer. I'll probably be ordering a few of these for holiday gifts. I can't see how anyone who already uses a cheaper mask would be anything but happy to receive one of your 'upgrades'. Thanks much. I purchased my first one about three years ago, when I began working nights as an EMT. I have always been a morning person, and I knew it would be difficult for me to adjust to sleeping during the day. I did not want to put dark blinds and curtains in my bedroom, so I thought a mask might be better. I had no idea how much I would come to depend on the hibermate for a good days rest. The ear pillows have been wonderful to block out noises that would otherwise wake me, and the mask stays put very well to block out light. I have nerve damage down my right leg, so it's difficult for me to sleep soundly. The pain wakes me up when I sleep lightly. I've slept better these past few days than I have in months. I was extremely hesitant to buy a sleep mask, convinced it would either slip off, or I would pull it off due to being uncomfortable in the middle of the night. That said, I decided I had to do something, so did some online digging and found your product, which looked to be of much better quality than I'd seen anywhere else - and at a reasonable price. I lived in Canada's Arctic where it's CONSTANTLY sunny during the summer months. Today the sun rose at 3:54am and will set tonight at 23:20, but truly, it never gets dark this time of year. For years I have gone to bed with the sun shining on my face, sleep with it shining and wake up with it shining on my face. For the past few nights I have had a dark night's sleep in total comfort. The Hibermate mask is incredibly comfortable and finally lets me rest. Sure, I probably look like an alien if I leave the sound muffler ear covers on...but even THEY are comfortable! Astounding!
