We've added this page because we just can't fit any more of our sleep mask reviews on the front page! Seriously though, thanks to all of you who've contributed, in every single case you've sat down and taken the time to write to me personally and for that I'm very grateful...

Honestly, these email messages are all real. You just can't make this many up! (as some rather strange people seem to think I have!). We've been featured in Qantas Magazine, various newspapers, Sade and Katie Noonan use a Hibermate when on tour etc. This lady wrote a lovely review of the Hibermate on her blog a little while back.

Now remember, we offer a 60 Day refund policy (give or take a few months - we're pretty flexible - really) - so if the Hibermate isn't for you, no hard feelings, let me know and I'll organise a refund.

The other thing I'd like to mention is that the usual reason for people sending back the mask or asking for a return is due to the sound blocking capabilities of the Hibermate. They do block some sound, but not as much as some people would like.

May 2013: As a result, we have just lodged a provisional patent on a new version of the Hibermate (coming soon) and once we've got the full protoype completed, I'll probably shoot a video to show it off. The sound blocking capabilities are 10x better than the current model and much better than any other sleep mask claiming to block sound (ours is the best in the market at the moment). Very soon I hope to start taking pre-orders from the website and we'll get it in market as soon as we can. Lastly, we're no longer placing email addresses (to confirm the veracity of the messages) on this page - the email harvesting "robots" have been out in force and regrettably many of my customers have received a ton of spam since kindlyposting here.

There are more to come, I tend to do them in batches so this page may be slightly out of date.

Hi Chris, I received my Hibernate mask in only 5 days, all the way from Australia to the UK!

It has taken me a little while to get used to it, but I have to say that generally I am sleeping a lot better using this mask, combined with the earplugs. My husband is a confirmed snorer and I have used wax earplugs in the past, but have often tried folding my pillow across my ears to try and block out his loud snoring. The little pads are ideal as they do the same job as a pillow, but need no effort to keep them in place across each ear.

I'm so glad I took the chance to send for your eye mask, despite it having to come from so far round the other side of the world.

I received notification today from PayPal of the refund for the mask. I wanted to thank you for your prompt and courteous service - outstanding. Generally I find it's easy for organisations when making a sale, but not so easy when organising a refund. Not so in this case. Please don't apologize, she had every expectation that it would work. And it does in fact work, however not with the way she sleeps. You do have an amazing product though and I love the story behind it. Personally I'm a huge fan of sensory deprivation, I do tank floats several times a month, so I tried it out and was impressed with it. I'm going to recommend it to a few friends that do deep meditation work.

We're taking off for a brief holiday but will be back mid next week. I'll keep mine and send hers back then.

Hi Chris, I'd thought I'd send you a short message and let you know how much I'm enjoying the Hibermate mask I purchased from you folks. I've been having some pretty bad sleep issues and my doctor recommended a sleep mask. After much procrastination and wondering about the best option for a sleepmask, I settled on your product after looking at a number of options online and have been wearing it for about a month now. My sleep has improved ten-fold and I love this mask. I'm going to order another black one, when you get more in stock. Shipping to Canada was not an issue at all and the mask arrived within three weeks from the date of order.

One of the things I was concerned about was whether there was an eye-cavity, to prevent pressure on the eye. You're doesn't have one, but my experience is that the material conforms to the eye and there is no pressure. Although originally concerned, this became a non-issue. Anyways, just thought I'd give you some feedback on your product and have no hesitation to recommending it to anyone. Thanks again! Feel free to use this review on your site if you'd like!

I bought a Hibermate mask last year and love it. We have windows with half round glass at the top, with no window covering over it. When we re-arranged our bedroom, the light from the moon shone into my face from the half-round. The mask did the trick. I just learned that my niece only sleeps well in total dark and has trouble sleeping when traveling. Just ordered one for her birthday and an extra for me to keep in my suitcase for travel. I rarely take the time to give feedback on a product I bought, especially at 1:21 in the morning when I have a thesis due in a couple days. But this product is too damn good not to give a shout out, I will be shouting out in the night that everyone needs to get one of these - Friends any family are all getting one of these for Christmas - the damn thing is so good I almost want to keep it a secret and not tell anyone.

The multiple sclorosis that she has does cause alot of problems and i think under normal curcumstances it would have been great and highly suitable.

Hi Chris

It has, finally, arrived! So now we know it take about twice the said time to get here, if not more, do your math please .
I liked it. It does stay put and it does block light, except for a minor piece above my nose, but quite minor, compared to the “holes” I used to have in the other masks.
As for the ear pillows when on my back they felt like no difference, but when on a side, at least the ear in contact with the pillow felt more ‘deaf’.
All in all, I’m content, of the products I’ve tried, this is the best so far. Looking forwards to future updates too

I just wanted to say thanks for for our new hibermates! It's my first one and my boyfriends second (the original one he ordered was black and kept getting lost in our black bedding). Since we both work rotating shift work, the hibermates help us to sleep both during the day and at night.   However we did have a question that is not related to the hibermate product itself, and that is what animal serves as a logo for you product?

I want to share with you the happiness I experienced today when I received the parcel with the Pitch Black Hibermate Sleep Mask and the Soft Gray Sleep Phones.

Took 1 day more than the 8 days but 1 day less than the 10 working days you mentioned on the Hibermate’s web page, so everything went perfectly well.

They’re both exactly what I need and are even better than what I dreamed and imagined.

I wanted to thank you all for creating the Hibermate eye mask. I suffer from severe migraines as well as chronic daily headaches so light sensitivity is a huge problem for me. I've tried other masks but they either don't fit properly or they are too uncomfortable on my hyper-sensitive skin. When I saw the Hibermate online, I knew right away that it would work. I have a suggestion for you which you may have already thought of. If you look at the website www.Landsend.com, a clothing merchandiser, they have a feature on some of their lady's bathing wear tops that allows the purchaser to rotate the garment 360-degrees and enlarge it as well. This might be a good feature for your Hibermate sleep mask, allowing the potential buyer to see the back and front of the mask?

Anyway, it might be an expensive change but it occurred to me that might help sell the mask even more. And, my advice is free, mate!!

I just thought I'd say a quick thank you for all your help... and I wanted to let you know that my husband ABSOLUTELY LOVES his Hibermate mask!! Although he does not use the ear muffs, he has worn his mask every time he goes to sleep, whether he has to work or not (he works nights, so I got this for him for during the daylight hours)... He says it is VERY comfortable, completely blocks the light, is breathable, very well made, and does EXACTLY what was promised on your website!! I have yet to wash it, but I'm sure it will be just fine!

Just wanted to let you know my hibermate has arrived. So far I love it. It's the first sleep mask I have found that actually blocks out all light. That's a big plus for me. I work night shift and have been having problems sleeping again with spring coming and the light being brighter during the day. Can't black out my windows though cause then all I want to do is sleep and never get up. Husband thinks that could be a problem. Do thank you for creating this sleep mask. We won't travel or try to sleep with out them! It is the most comfortable mask I have ever tried. The ear muffs are perfectly comfortable and adjustable (buyers should remove them before laundering mask to avoid tearing off). Not a drop of light comes through with this mask.

I have a really small head and my husband has a very large one (difficult to find any hats that fit him). The Hibermate fits us both perfectly! We've been going on and on for months about how much we love it and what a difference it makes.

What can I say about the mask, ordered in the UK on a Tuesday and delivered LESS than a week later, UK suppliers can not achieve this even in the same County.
The mask has transformed my nights, oh joy, 7 hours un interrupted sleep, I sleep so deep even without the ear piece I do not even hear the birds chirping. I will test it in Spain next week and see if it works the same on the Cockerel, quaint and rural but dam annoying. Bless you and your website XX

Hi Chris

The sleep mask arrived and I've been using it since September. I must be a pretty active sleeper because I'll often wake up having taken it off during the night, or it will be over my mouth (hahaha, probably my partner trying to stop my snoring!). We have purchased several masks over the years since I first saw a segment on Alan Kohler’s Business program. As we live in northern NSW on the coast and have many windows and no curtains they are an essential item for a good nights sleep. I'm so looking forward to using the Hibermate as I live next to a busy, brightly-lit, multi-lane road with noise at most hours, not to mention being on an ambulance route. I'm usually awakened at some point each night and considered purchasing regular ear muffs, but determined they wouldn't be the best solution due to their bulk and weight (I'm also not one to use drugs of any sort, such as sedatives).

After visiting your Web site, which I came across after doing a Google search for "comfortable ear muffs for sleeping", I was immediately convinced I had found the ideal product and best solution to my sleeping problems - I was most impressed by the comfort factor and just how unobstructive and easy-to-use the product is. I ordered two of them 4 or 5 years ago on a very positive recommendation from my Sister. My Sister still uses hers and loves it. While I lost mine about 6 months ago, my Wife's is still in excellent condition, even after using it every night.

The mask is incredibly comfortable and stops all light, very impressive in my opinion. Neither mask has required a repair, an indication of their superb quality. The sleep pillows are nicely designed, but my Wife is a side sleeper and she prefers not to wear them. I sleep with earplugs so I do not use them. I do find them quite comfortable though.

My Wife has a smaller face and if I remember correctly, you used to have a smaller sized mask. Regardless, I am sure the new one will work quite well. She will probably use the older one for when we take trips.

Thanks for sending me this update. I originally bought a Hibermate for my dad and myself, which was a big hit, but my father's Hibermate has since suffered from wear and tear. I was wondering if the free shipping in the promotion below also applies to international shipping to Canada - I don't have a need to receive this by Christmas so timing is not an issue. I was also curious as to whether it's possible, in the future, to order just the eyemask and not the ear pieces, as he tends to regularly need an eyemask but rarely uses the ear pieces themselves (nor do I). Great product though, i've had a lot of positive commentary on it.

My name is Liz, I'm 24 from California! I've used the Hibermate for about 3 years now and love it! I've never been an eye mask user, never had issues falling asleep so when my sister gave me the Hibermate I didn't have a strong desire to use it. However, I caught a cold a few days later and triend the mask to help me fall asleep during the day. I never looked back! U used the mask every night, I LOVED IT! I've told everyone about the mask!!
Unfortunately, I lost my Hibermate while travelling last month, I'm devastated. My sleep has been much less restful since I lost the mask. I need a new one! I thought I'd hold out for my birthday or a holiday and ask for another one, but I think I'm going to have to buy a new one!

I purchased a sleep mask some years ago online from a Gentleman who made them for his friends who were sick and confined to hospital wards.

It was the best mask but unfortunately I left it somewhere in England while on vacation.

I know you get lots of positive reviews of the Hibermate from satisfied customers, but I just couldn't resist adding my own. I'm a light sleeper, and I definitely prefer a minimum of light and noise to give me peaceful and restful sleep.

I have tried many different eyeshades; they all slip around on my head and fall off during the night.

And I've also tried many different kinds of earplugs; they, too, invariably pop out during the night. The Hibernate solves both these problems: it stays in place pretty well, and those nice comfy ear muffs provide just enough sound barriers.

Thanks to you and your wonderful product, I've finally got the key(s) to a consistently peaceful night's sleep.

I've had a Hibermate sleep mask for over four years and it was the best thing I had stumbled on while surfing the internet!

I love it so much that I don't go anywhere without it! In fact, it's probably more traveled than many of my friends, having gone all over the US and to Europe and North Africa!

I've bought them for friends and my most recent purchase is for a friend who is having her first child next month! I know that the Hibermate sleep mask will help her to sleep well when she does have a chance to sleep!

I will never buy another sleep mask, ever!

Hi Chris,

I purchased my hibermate some 6 months ago. I am a shift work that has never slept well during the day, however when I moved into a new apartment recently where some genius had designed bedroom doors and walls with frosted glass I was in trouble. I had always used eye masks that either fall apart, break or fall off. My hibermate sits perfectly and gives the appearance that it is going to serve me for many years. I do not wear the supplied ear muffs, preferring to use the supplied ear plugs which coincidently are the most comfortable that I have ever used. All this contributes to a great sleep however light of noisy my bedroom becomes.

Here's another all time favourite!

C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S to Bonnie, your new addition, and thank YOU for the very interesting E-mail response! I'm sure the Hibermate will be outstanding and do its duty for us 'Colonials!' Speaking of Colonials, many years ago I watched a simply wonderful mini-series on TV here entitled "Against The Wind" about the founding of Australia by convicts who were "transported" from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. If you have not seen it and ever get the chance, do so and you won't regret it, it's great history. My old boss Norm Cahill used to tell us that when he visited Australia he was treated like a long-lost member of the family because his name was 'Cahill."

But perhaps the biggest debt I owe you all in the land "Down Under" is that one of your very brave RAN destroyers, HMAS HOBART, saved my ship in 1968 during the Viet-Nam conflict.

I was aboard a big cruiser, the USS PROVIDENCE, and we were moving in towards shore under cover of fog to perform a naval gunfire mission when we were hit repeatedly by North Vietnamese shore battery fire. Apparently we were unaware they had us in their sights for quite a ways in.

Suddenly, out of the fog comes HMAS HOBART, Australian flag flying, much smaller than us, all guns blazing away, smoke from her batteries hovering and the vessel heeling sideways from the recoils and looking like a gray pirate ship of old battling the French or Spanish fleets.

But it was the most wonderful sight to all of us aboard our ship! HOBART distracted the North Vietnamese who turned their attention to her while she in turn started dodging in circles and zig-zagging while still blasting away with everything she had. What a courageous and crazy thing to do, but we loved her for it!

We were able to move back out to sea with HOBART covering our rear all the way to open waters. I remember her and her crew were highly decorated for their efforts to save us.

To this day, 39 years later, at each PROVIDENCE reunion, the crew of the USS PROVIDENCE raises a toast to the officers and crew of HMAS HOBART.

HMAS' HOBART, VENDETTA and PERTH were the bravest of the brave and stood their ground like Australians always do!

Sorry I bored you with an old war story. I'm slipping towards "Geezerdom" I guess!!

Dear Hibermate,

I received my eye mask and love it. I took a nap today and the light
didn't bother me...yes! I am using the orange ear plugs also as it cuts
out the sounds of snoring. However, the ones like it that the US sells

You guys have created a very high quality product, because it allowed my husband to "sleep like a lamb" as he put it, and that Rarely happens. I think the ear pillows are key to keeping out some sound and provide nice support for side sleeping, and the mask puts just enough pressure on eye, to actually be comforting, not confining! Could you please put me on a waiting list for 2 black sleep masks when you get them in stock? I can't wait to get them, I have a 1 year old daughter and from time to time I pull an "all-nighter" with her and would benefit from this mask myself. Thank you again.

I've tried so many sleeping masks only to be disappointed by their construction (the head band loosens or breaks) or they stain the pillow, or they're just too flimsy to really do the job. The Hibermate mask is sturdy and the most comfortable I've ever worn. It truly cuts out the light. The ear covers are comfortable and really work -- no need for ear plugs. If Hibermate were an automobile it would be a Rolls Royce. Now that I have mine, I can tell you that you're not charging enough!

Hi Chris,

I ordered a mask from you a couple of years ago and it was really fantastic. I've just been away to New York where one of the two things that went missing from my room was my Hibermate. Was so annoyed but when I complained to the hotel I don't think they realised the gravity of losing a Hibermate (I hope where ever my hibermate has turned up it will be taken care of!).

hi chris

the sleep mask arrived yesterday, i used it last night without the ear pads
as its quiet and i had the deepest sleep i have had in a long time. i
usually wake up two or three times in the night and usually about an hour
before i need to get up i slept straight through to my alarm.

when i first opened it i thought the side straps would irritate me but they
were really comfortable!

Oh, my GOSH I love my Hibermate!! It is best thing to ever happen to sleeping since the weekend. One added bonus that no one seems to have mentioned: it also works as a fabulous adjunct to undereye moisturizing. Just apply some good eye cream to the periorbial area and put on your Hibermate. When you wake up the skin around your eyes will be STUNNING and soft! It is like a mini facelift!!

4 years of constant use....

. . . and still working!

Dear Chris,

I bought 3 of your Hibermates back in 2002, and have been using them ever
since. Wanted you to know that they are very durable! I use my black one
constantly, and ended up giving my other two away to needy fibromites - who
love them!

After 4 years of constant use (every night, and for naps during the day 3-4
times a week), the eleatic is finally starting to wear out. My daughter will
have to put more on, soon! They are well constructed (did I say durable?),
and attractive. The Hibermate *works* - no light, much reduced noise, but I
can still hear my alarm clock(s) or timer(s) and wake up on time.

Now that I have joined the Red Hat Society, I'm waiting for you to put them
out in Purple with a Red embroidered "Hibermate" and Red with a Purple
embroidered "Hibermate."

As soon as I have a new website set up, I want to become an affiliate. I
believe in these things!! Hope you put out the other colors again. I want to
get a Red one and another Black one.

Hi Chris

Good News. The parcel arrived today. I am very pleased with the product. Thanks for your willingness to work with me on this matter. I will tell you that the eye mask is for my husband who has been using one of my satin eye pillows for a couple of years. The elastic is so stretched out that he ties it on at night. This leaves a small indention line around the back of his hair. It is quite humorous. He teaches at a local university, and his students tease him about it quite regularly. He also sleeps with ear plugs, so the ear attachments are a definite plus. When I saw it on your website, I knew that I had to get it for him. I just wish there was a way to get insurance to pay for these things, being that he is an insomniac...

Chris,
I ordered a sleep mask from you and it works better than any I have tried so far. I work nights and this one lets no light in at all.The problem i have is I have a Boxer puppy and she chewed up the ear pillows. Do you sell these seperate or do I need to order a complete mask. I told alot of people at my work about your mask and theybought and are very happy with your product also.Let me know about the ear pillows.

Having used the Hibermate on a daily basis for approximately four years, I thought I'd take this opportunity to thank you for creating a wonderful product. As a Chicago Police Officer forced to work the midnight shift while attending law school, I can honestly say I owe my sanity to the Hibermate. Prior to discovering Hibermate, sleep was something that was interrupted regularly by both sunlight and noise (birds, cars, airplanes, pedestrians, etc. . .). I had unsuccessfully tried numerous sleep masks before discovering your product on the Internet. In a last ditch effort to obtain blissful sleep, I decided to give it a try. Just a short note to say how impressed I am with your delivery, I am now in receipt of my order (even though I had to go and collect it myself from the sorting officer, being Christmas and all).

They are just what my wife and I need, both being shift workers and are employed on lots of night shifts.
As your company has been the third Ozz company I have placed orders in the last 18 months, the first for sheepskin car seat covers, to date I am still awaiting delivery, they keep giving me updated e-mails everytime I enquire, now I have resigned to not receiving anything from them.

The second company, my order was for delivery in early November for my Grandsons birthday, due to my pushing I have received two identical orders (funny enough collected same day as your delivery)

Just a quick note--my husband and I bought a pair of your masks over two years ago. I've tried other masks, and was NEVER satisfied until we found the HiberMate. Now we can't sleep without them. They are very durable and functional. No hair-pulling, no slipping off in the night, no light seepage AT ALL. The only reason we're replacing them is because our puppy destroyed one off them--AARRGGHH! We're fighting over who gets the intact mask!

Here is a testimonial worth posting. For three years I have lived next door to the worst neighbor in the world. Four dogs outside all the time barking. I have tried every avenue to get some sleep at night including prescription sleep aids, black out curtains, white noise machines and nothing so far has worked.

I have also tried ear plugs but they still don't stop the noise. However, by combining ear plugs and the "Hibermate" I was able to take a two hour nap during the middle of the day with my blinds open, the sun shining in, and those stupid dogs barking with complete silence and total darkness.

I think my wife may want one as well. I live in the US and it took less than a week to arrive, WOW! Thank you mate for making such a great product. This is a really well made with high quality and if you have annoying dogs next door then you want this product.

Dear Chris & Lib,

My hibernate arrived just shy of a week, just as promised. I have been using it about a week now, and noticed the difference in my sleep the first day. (I work 12 hr. night shifts) I used to wake up about 2 hours too early and not be able to go back to sleep. I am certain now that it must have been the effect of the afternoon light. The first day I used it I was able to sleep 2 hrs. longer than usual, and when I first woke up I hadn’t a clue as to whether it was 2am or high noon; the mask is THAT dark.

Also the comfort level far surpasses the mask I was using, and it does not slide off. I am still surprised when I find I have slept 7 hrs., not 4 or 5. It is truly a great product. I am thinking of ordering a few more as Christmas gifts for my night shift working friends.

Hello-- just got my Hibermate today and just in time-- had a terrible migraine and it worked beautifully to keep out the light that aggravates the headache while I rested and let the medicine take effect. ...by the way, your eye masks are ABSOLUTELY the BEST! I have tried MANY other types and NONE compare to yours with regard to comfort and total darkness. My husband works nights and sleeps days and has "stolen" my mask, so I have to get another! I have given them as gifts and everyone loves them as well!

I find it even more comfortable if I turn it inside out and wear the silky side against my face and the fleecey side out. Just my preference!

Hi Chris

I just received the mask and wore it for the first time last night. What a treat! I thought I might not like the ear pads since they might feel uncomfortable on the pillow, but they were great. The extra advantage in this colder weather of winter is that they keep my ears warm. I didn't think the sound muffling aspect would be that helpful, but it was. I slept more soundly because of the added soundproofing, sort of like having a blanket over my ear, it takes off the 'edge' of any noises in the environment.

I've been wearing a Bed, Bath and Beyond (U.S. chain store) sleep mask for about a year, and had grown used to its uncovered elastic band irritating my ears. Your mask was like being in a dream, even before I went to sleep! So soft....a complete head wrap that stays on and doesn't slide around. Wow! Anyway, I'm one SOLD customer. I'll probably be ordering a few of these for holiday gifts. I can't see how anyone who already uses a cheaper mask would be anything but happy to receive one of your 'upgrades'. Thanks much.

I just finished ordering my second hibermate sleep mask. I purchased my first one about three years ago, when I began working nights as an EMT. I have always been a morning person, and I knew it would be difficult for me to adjust to sleeping during the day. I did not want to put dark blinds and curtains in my bedroom, so I thought a mask might be better. I had no idea how much I would come to depend on the hibermate for a good days rest. The ear pillows have been wonderful to block out noises that would otherwise wake me, and the mask stays put very well to block out light. I received my mask a few days ago and I'd like to make a couple of points...

1. The Hibermate was, without question, the best sleep mask I've ever worn.

2. The Hibermate was the first sleep mask I was actually able to sleep in.

3. Instead of hot, sticky satin on the inside, the cotton felt like the inside of a clean, old, comfortable sweatshirt, actually lulling me to sleep.

I have a question, or perhaps a suggestion: do you have any plans for coming out with a similar mask with gel pack inserts? When I’m having a migraine headache, it would feel so good to have something cool as well as dark around my eyes. I was thinking that somehow you could waterproof the inside lining, and then make it possible, maybe by Velcro closures, for the person to insert the gel pack(s) that they have either frozen in their freezer, or heated up in the microwave (in case they’d rather have something warm against their face, like for sinus problems or colds). I’ve seen other products that do this on the internet, but none of them that I’ve found have removable gel packs. You either heat up or freeze the entire mask, but none of them appeared to block the light as efficiently.

My guess is that you could make a bunch of money if you can come up with one like I’ve suggested and market it to the migraine community. If you do, can I have a royalty for the suggestion?? :)

How is it going these days on your side of the Earth? Well, I hope. Here the weather is totally weird. Today it was so hot that I was barely able to move. At the place where I work, they told us that exceptionally we can remove our ties because of the hot weather :)

Anyway, I am writing you, because something weird happened. I have just found in my post box the first mask that you sent me on the 13 of June!!! What a surprise! The story is even more crazy because this morning, at my work place, I have found a letter from the post announcing the arrival of the Second mask for which apparently they will try to make me pay some taxes (apparently they think that it is the Bank of New York that ordered the mask and not a private person :)) . Anyway, the important thing is that both masks seem to be somewhere in Belgium....I almost lost faith to see them.....

In this sense, I authorize you to bill my credit card for your expenses related to the second mask. I do not want you to suffer losses because of the incompetence of the Belgium Post office. You are a reliable person and in this sense you do not deserve that. So, just advise me how much I owe you and once I give you my accord on the amount, you can bill the card.

I hope that I have not caused too many problems with all this story...Next time someone from Belgium orders a mask, tell him to be really patient :)

I received my order last week for a Hibermate sleep mask. I was extremely hesitant to buy a sleep mask, convinced it would either slip off, or I would pull it off due to being uncomfortable in the middle of the night. That said, I decided I had to do something, so did some online digging and found your product, which looked to be of much better quality than I'd seen anywhere else - and at a reasonable price.

I lived in Canada's Arctic where it's CONSTANTLY sunny during the summer months. Today the sun rose at 3:54am and will set tonight at 23:20, but truly, it never gets dark this time of year. For years I have gone to bed with the sun shining on my face, sleep with it shining and wake up with it shining on my face. For the past few nights I have had a dark night's sleep in total comfort. The Hibermate mask is incredibly comfortable and finally lets me rest. Sure, I probably look like an alien if I leave the sound muffler ear covers on...but even THEY are comfortable! Astounding!

My Carer/Friend and I are so delighted with 'Hibermate' sleep masks that I have just re-ordered (#607018). I am retired and have 'Delayed Sleep Syndrome' (DSP), meaning I am 'up all night' and sleep thro' the day. This has been a problem exacerbated by having young neighbours, as 'would-be DJ's', who appear to think that my adjacent flat was designed solely for acting as a resonant sound-box for amplifying the extra-low bass frequency of their respective Hi-Fi equipment, i.e.,despite having been served repeatedly with 'Noise-abatement' orders and threats of eviction by the Local Council!

However, this situation has been greatly eased by using 'Hibermate' Sleep Masks, together with additional proprietary 'earplugs'. I now have darkness, comfort and virtually total silence.

I recently ordered the Hibermate (order # 547063) and I am really pleased with it. Like others on your website, I was amazed at the speed of delivery. I wanted you to know that I plan to put the sleep mask to a slightly different use than the advertised one. You are missing out on a whole new category of clients!

I don't have a problem sleeping, but I do get occasional migraine headaches. If you don't know, one of the hallmark symptoms of a migraine headache is light and noise sensitivity. It doesn't take much light to hurt your head during a migraine. The light filtering in a shade-covered window at night will do it! In the past, I have covered my eyes with arms, socks, blankets, anything I could get hold of. The Hibermate will work perfectly and be absolutely dark!!! The ear covers will muffle sound as well and help with that, too!

I have not had a headache since I received the Hibermate, but I tried it on and believe it will really help when the next one hits. During a headache, you can lie down in a quiet room, but it is hard to shut out ALL light. So, even though I haven't put the mask to the ultimate test yet, I really think I have found a great solution in your product.

Feel free to use this on your testimonial page. I'm sure there are a lot of migraine sufferers who could appreciate the Hibermate! Thanks for a quality product. I'll let you know how it worked after the next headache!!

Thank you for the speedy delivery of the sleep mask I ordered from you.

I have been a police officer for 30 years, and have always had trouble sleeping on graveyard. I have found that the sleep mask helps me get the rest I need.

In 1968, I was in Soc Trang in the Delta of Vietnam. Our small outpost was surrounded and we were completely cut off from everything. We had nothing coming in, no food, no mail, no beer!

Every time a plane tried to land on our runway, it was motored, so planes just didn't come in. We eventually needed supplies, especially the food and mail from home (for our morale).

We were told by our brass that pilots were asked to volunteer for a mission that would be dangerous, but we needed to be supplied. One of the greatest days of my life was when, standing in line for some more C-Rations, we heard the sound of planes.

We looked up to see two cargo planes (C-130's I believe) making approachs to our runway. We could see the red Kangaroo on the tail of each plane and knew that Australian pilots were flying them. Each plane made the cargo drop by just touching down, then gunning it so the front lifted up high and the cargo was then pushed out the back on giant paletts.

The mortors were dropping, and it was like out of a Speilberg movie. We all cheered. We had food, mail from home, and best of all, beer - Australian beer (with the Kangaroo on it!) that we couldn't chill, but it was still the best beer I will ever have. I hope those pilots and their crew received medals - they deserved it.

Hi Chris,
FYI...I received the masks on Saturday, May 11. They are absolutely
wonderful! Arizona is very dry and HOT (we had 104 degrees on Monday) and
to keep cool I use a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Problem is, it dries my
eyes. So come morning time its painful to open my eyes. I use an ointment
still, but hope to eventually eliminate the use of it. The mask is
non-binding and heatless to wear. This is the most comfortable mask. I'm
happy that I don't wakeup with a brain squeeze. Yesterday, I gave my friend
her's and she loves it too! I told her to wait till she uses it, but she
said that she could already tell.

defective. It lacks the sewn in velcro (it has the stretchable nylon strap
with the velcro square, but not the long, sewn velcro strip to fasten the
mask). It was never sewn into the mask when it was manufactured.

Please advise how to go about exchanging/returning this mask for another.
Please note that any color mask is acceptable if a properly made green mask
is not available. In addition, I would like to purchase two more black
masks.

Happily, the mask that was properly made is the best sleep mask I
have ever used. I would like to give them to my best friends!
